Municipal recycling drop-off in San José del Cabo is Friday, 28 August 2026, 08:00–13:00, in the parking lot of Unidad Deportiva Rodrigo Aragón Ceseña. Organizer: XV Ayuntamiento de Los Cabos, Dirección Municipal de Educación, Divulgación y Promoción Ambiental. Accepted this date (per Eclipse BCS / HCN / Informador BCS): plastics, paper, cardboard, aluminum cans, glass bottles, Tetrapak and expired medicines. A May 2026 municipal briefing said SJDC drop-offs run the second and last Friday of each month at the same sports-unit lot, 8 a.m.–1 p.m., and asked residents to bring items clean, dry and sorted; that briefing also listed bottle caps, alkaline batteries, small appliances, cigarette butts, cooking oil and electronics as received in the broader programme. Free public drop-off; park in the sports-unit lot.
