Plaza Mijares, San José del Cabo
San José del Cabo’s municipal El Grito is a separate gathering from Cabo San Lucas the same night (15 September). Visit Los Cabos’ evergreen guide places the civic ceremony in Plaza Teniente Antonio Mijares / the municipal palace area of the historic center, with a civic-military parade on the 16th starting 8:00 a.m. on Manuel Doblado and ending at Plaza Mijares. Los Cabos City Hall has confirmed 2026 Grito planning but had not posted the 2026 hour-by-hour bill as of late August — do not copy 2025’s 10:00 p.m. balcony time as official 2026.
