Friday, October 16 through Tuesday, October 20, 2026: Cabo San Lucas celebrates its patron saint San Lucas Evangelista with the Fiestas Tradicionales 2026, organized by the H. XV Ayuntamiento de Los Cabos and the organizing committee. Per the official municipal release, the Teatro del Pueblo sets up at its traditional site behind the plaza comercial in colonia Matamoros with a stage program every night Fri–Tue; the official opening is Friday Oct 16 at 7:00 p.m. with the coronation of festival queen Ana Daniela Ruiz Osuna and headline sets by Ingrid Contreras and Grupo Perdidos de Sinaloa. Activities extend to Plaza Pública León Cota Collins and the Auditorio Municipal “Prof. Leonardo Gastélum Villalobos” (INDEM sports and family events). ICA Los Cabos’ free artistic-cultural program fills Plaza León Cota Collins Fri–Sun Oct 16–18 from 5:00 p.m. (folklórico ballets, circus, rap, batucada, son cubano, brass band). The Gran Cabalgata is Sunday Oct 18 at 3:00 p.m. (separate card). The municipal release prints no Teatro del Pueblo ticket price or phone; walk-up, family event with an inter-agency security operation.
