Monday, November 2, 2026, 6:00 p.m.: as part of the Día de Muertos Festival La Ribera 2026 (“Nuestras tradiciones nos unen”), the Los Cabos city council, ICA Los Cabos, the La Ribera municipal delegation and La Ribera’s Casa de Cultura hold a Day of the Dead altar contest on La Ribera’s public plaza. Families of La Ribera build traditional altars in teams of five; prizes $8,000 / $6,000 / $4,000 MXN. Visitors can walk the altars for free. Team registration: 624 130 0331 (printed on the listing).
